Exciting News

In my last blog I hinted about news that has given me new pep for painting, a focus for my folly, excuse for my exuberance. πŸ˜‰

Quartet Gallery in Lunenburg Nova Scotia has invited me to join them!

This past Easter weekend, Colleen Galloway, Jane Rowberry, Laurel Haslett, Pat McKenzie and I opened the doors of Quartet Gallery for it’s twelfth season! It is a welcoming space filled with the original art of these talented women who paint their vision of the world around them with passion.

If you are in the Lunenburg area I invite you to stop in for a visit. You can find our current hours and links to the artists’ websites by going to http://www.quartetgallery.com

I look forward to the journey that will unfold with this new community of artists!

You have so much talent for us to see in different facets of your creativity, even flowers. I am so proud of you and that you are my daughter. Love you very much. Can’t wait to see your new art. Lots of hugs and kisses, Mom

  3. Hi Deborah,
Kimber, Tim, Mary and I stopped by the gallery after our meeting in Bridgewater yesterday. I wanted to share my appreciation of your painting of a group of three (barn) doors. The top door reminded me of a building at my childhood home, and as I looked at the door I remembered my experiences of going in that door so often…. to play, to work, to experience the satisfaction of being responsible. It was the doorway to becoming the person I am. It was the door to the horse stable, and my horse was a feisty Shetland named dusty! Thanks πŸ’•

    1. Hi Pam,
Thanks so much for stopping by the gallery yesterday and sharing how one of my paintings helped to stir up childhood memories! I am honoured.
